Coaching
Our organization is covered by USA Lacrosse and is part of the Empire North Lacrosse Association. At a minimum, all coaches must possess a Bronze Certification. Additional trainings and more advanced certifications are encouraged.

Guilderland Youth Lacrosse Board
The Guilderland Youth Lacrosse (GYL) Board works collaboratively to manage the Fall and Spring seasons, coordinates tournaments hosted by GYL, and organizes fundraising efforts to support the continued growth of lacrosse and field maintenance at DiCaprio Park.

Parent Volunteer Requirement
GYL is a volunteer run organization. All families are expected to volunteer during the Spring season to support as we host several large tournaments at DiCaprio Park. If your family is unable to volunteer, in the Spring season you can pay the $75 volunteer opt-out fee.
